Dear Thanga Prabhu,

India now ranks as a top ransomware target in the Asia Pacific region- a dubious distinction that puts every organization at risk.

Should it bother you? Absolutely!

In just the last six months (February-August 2025), India has become a prime ransomware battleground, with attackers ruthlessly targeting our most critical sectors with

-  Government systems getting compromised
-  Healthcare networks becoming paralyzed
-  Manufacturing operations being halted
-  Insurance sectors getting breached
.

Your Defence Strategy Must Include:
Bulletproof Access Controls - Lock down every entry point
Combat-Ready Teams - Train employees to recognize, tackle, and diffuse such threats

To address the need of Ransomware Readiness for organizations, we at Data Security Council of India (DSCI) with the support of CERT-In, are coming up with the 16th cohort of DSCI Certified Ransomware Rapid Responder (DCRRR) Bootcamp in Mumbai on September 22 & 23, 2025.

With this program, participants can lead the ransomware response strategy in their organization by establishing a comprehensive incident response plan.

DCRRR is a two-day intensive boot camp on ransomware rapid response (ransomware preparedness) aimed to equip the cybersecurity & IT team members.

On Day-1, learners can lead the ransomware response strategy in their organization by establishing a comprehensive incident response plan. This will ensure that the team is prepared for potential attacks and can respond swiftly and effectively.

This exercise helps the learners:
