Folk music is at it's best when discussing controversies\ issues happening in politics\society which I feel as if it's a topic for an older age group. Teenagers were probably listening to Bob Dylan at this time because pop music back then seemed to be all the same. Other folk artists were getting butt hurt at Dylan amplifying instruments because they liked their old normal acoustic versions better. Acoustic folk music is MUCH better in my opinion. Frank Zappa was wrong, when he felt as if people were getting to personal, yet when people add their emotions in to their songs it creates a better vibe, more of a feel, and more of a relation to it.
