During the late sixties, some people said that the British saved rock and roll. If true, what did they save it from?
ok fall out boy. the british 'saved' rock n roll from disappearing. as americas affection with the blues died down, the british were only just discovering it and so new bands n suchh started looking to come to the american scene and hard rock/more modern rock was formed thru the blues idek

Would the post-invasion U.S. styles of garage bands and the blues revival bands have become popular without the popularity of the British bands?
i dont think so. or at least not for a while later. by having bands like creme really pushing the hard rock and already being famous they had a greater opportunity to play it yes maybe i dont kno lolllllllll
