Dear Alice, I hope everyone had an enjoyable Labor Day weekend. I am writing with a few quick announcements and updates: |

Neighborhood Street Traffic Calming Program |
Applications for the city's Neighborhood Street Traffic Calming Program are open through September 15th. This means that if you would like your residential street to be reviewed by the city for potential traffic calming, you can learn the details of the program and apply below.
The application is not difficult, and only requires either a neighborhood organization or the signatures of four neighbors. I will be happy to help anyone who needs help with the application or the process! |
Before applying, it will be worth checking if your street has already been applied for, which you can see at the map linked below. |
If your street has already been applied for, it remains on the list and you don't need to apply again! |

RUNOFF ELECTION INFORMATION |
Early voting for the runoff election is open, through Saturday, and election day is September 14th! You can find the early voting schedule and locations below. Please make a plan, and vote! This election is extremely important. |

I am voting for Freddie O'Connell for Mayor, and I hope you will join me. This two-person runoff is very different from the general election back on August 3rd, and Freddie stands alone in standing for the priorities of District 6 -- improvements in transit, green space, walkability, and safe streets; a genuine care for public education, our students, and our teachers; addressing the growing issue of affordability in town and building a Nashville for Nashvillians; and a passionate focus on the basics of city government and neighborhood quality. These are the issues I heard about at so many of your doorsteps over the past few months, the issues I plan to work on, and being able to partner with Freddie on them will make a huge, huge difference.

Finally, I was sworn into office last Friday, and it has been exciting to get underway! Please continue to reach out to me, but now at my official email: clay...@nashville.gov, or at 615-864-0008.
Talk to you soon! Clay |
