Travel trailers (RV’s) can be connected to an electrical service as long as that service is rated for that use. This includes any cords that attach the RV to the main electrical circuit. However, the RV cannot be used as a temporary living space (i.e. guest room). An RV is not a permanent dwelling unit and it can only be occupied on parcels zoned for RV use. That use is prohibited in residentially zoned districts.

Yes.  Full-time occupancy on private property in the back.  Is there a time limit or restriction on that in Edgefield?

Most motorhomes or travel trailers are kept plugged in and may have heat to keep from having frozen pipes. I guess they could be used as a guest bedroom on occasion. Do you mean full time occupancy?

Are there any restrictions on having an RV in use on private property over a period of time in Edgefield?
