Hello friends of Historic Green!
It's been a busy few months for us, and while our communications may have been sporadic, we intend to fix that over the next couple months. Before you get a big email from us, we wanted to get out some important bits of information.
THE MAIN EVENT
*Historic Green 2010 dates for New Orleans are March 9-19, 2010. Save the date, start planning your travel, and recruit friends and family members to come along! Registration will be going live in mid to late January, so be sure to take advantage of the discounted early registration rate.
SEEKING YOUR HELP
*Are you too impatient to wait until March to get involved; we have volunteer leadership and committee roles available. Our committees are broken down as follows:
**Projects. Recruits skilled leaders, plans our working projects; develops scopes of work, tool lists, project budgets, determines schedule, material lists.

**Volunteers. Recruits volunteers to come; responds to logistics questions like travel and lodging, plans social events, orientation, and meals.

**Communications. Manages the website, facebook, twitter, and linked in pages. Sends out emails, develops marketing materials, and public relations.

**Finance. Secures donations, writes grants, manages our budget, develops sponsorship package, outreach to potential funders.
