Relics, Miracles, and Saints

My paper will be discussing the preservations of relics (why they were such an integrated part of everyday life), the emphasis on miracles, and the importance of saints (according to Bede, saints were almost “holy”). I want to compare and contrast Bede’s views to those of William of Malmesbury. In addition to Bede and William, I will also be using other sources such as Augustine of Hippo, St. Jerome, and other early church fathers.

Abby,

This is a good start, but at this stage you have simply announced what your topic is. (It's a GREAT topic.) What you now need to develop now is a thesis statement together with an overview of how you plan to unpack or defend it. What will be the main claim in your paper? So I would like you to refine this a little more and post again.
