Dear Direct Rules of the Road wg members: I have some bad news and
some good news. The bad news is that Brett Peterson of Ability, our
co-chair who has done the lion's share of the work with the wiki pages
and CP, is taking on new duties at Ability and will not be able to
continue weekly meetings. We'll miss his input.

The good news is that Arien Malec, now back with Relay after his stint
at ONC, has agreed to fill Brett's spot and be wg co-chair going
forward. Given the need for some final work on the CP based on your
comments and wiki exchanges, and also the need for some time for Arien
to make the transition, we've decided to cancel the meeting of the wg
for Friday, August 19th. We will definitely meet the following
Friday, usual time 3 pm EDT. We will also extend the CP consensus
vote until then. This still meets our deadline of September 1.
