We have recently implemented STAR.   We are seeing that any late charges applied to a contract (after the contract has billed) are dropping to the next billing sequence based on post date, not service date.  Does anyone know if there is a way to apply these charges to the appropriate sequence based on service date instead?

we have done Contract Billing for years and as far as I know there is no way to accomplish what you would like to do.  This runs strictly off of posting date.

We ended up creating our own Contract Billing using SQL so that we can have charges based on Service Date, Medicare Fee Schedules, and Active Contract Accounts.

Marcus,

Would you be willing to share that SQL with me?  I think I’m going to need something like that very soon….. I tried responding just to your email address from your signature block and it came back undeliverable.

Thanks,
Dolores
