I never forget a Willie Nelson request.

Several months ago at Lucky 32, someone asked to hear Willie Nelson's "Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground." Some say Willie penned it for a friend who was a member of the Hell's Angels and died in a motorcycle crash. Willie doesn't confirm or deny this (who's going to argue with the Hell's Angels?) But he did mention once that the song was about one of his ex-wives, Connie (source: wiki).

Another friend sent me a Patty Griffin version of this song, and tonight I'll do my version, played on a beauty of a guitar - my Dad's old Conn guitar on loan to me this week, special for the show.

Hope to see you all out there, and bring your requests. I trust you.
