The ideal candidate would be one who comes with a downstream background with strong
process knowledge of production planning & scheduling.
Candidate should have Application development experience not as a programmer
but as Business analyst who can study and understand business user
requirements, do gap analysis on process and systems (how physical process is
managed digitally), identify areas that can simplify and or enhance the digital
process to create business value through products being developed. Candidate
should be able to interact with business users and understand paint point and
define product features and user stories which address gaps areas on
enhancement needs
Summary: BA / PO with a Downstream production experience + Strong communication skills + Knowledge of Managing
product backlog by writing features and User stories who has been a part of
application development engagements
Profile provided till now have very good exposure to Product Owner, But O&G
Downstream experience is missing.

highlighted below).
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or BTech from a recognized university with
overall 10+years of experience
Minimum 5 years’ of relevant experience in product management or digital
projects development/management in Oil&Gas domain.
Functional knowledge of Production Planning & Scheduling (Oil&Gas
Refinery)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Help in describing PBI’s, Acceptance Criteria and Requirements finalization
Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders
throughout the project and create requirements
Competency on agile methodology and experience with Planning & Scheduling
systems such as AspenTech PIMS & ORION or knowledge of SQL or any other
programming experience will be an added advantage
Owns the business deliverables and priorities.
