Position Title: ETL Developer with Insurance Domain exp
Location: 100% REMOTE
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Develop new ETL and enhancements, and modify existing code using Informatica PowerCenter. Work independently to develop, configure, and unit test programs from specs (source to target mappings)
Architect, design and document ETL solutions for projects, estimate work effort and provide status of tasks
Provide technical support for the administration and production support of Informatica
Provide troubleshooting oversight and operational support
Create and maintain best practices and methodologies for ETL development
Review all work in design and code sessions for junior team members
Prepare documents that describe, and support code developed
Identify improvements to the data warehouse environment. Work with the team to implement these solutions
Experience working with complex SQL
Escalate issues to the right party when require
 
REQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (in order of level of need)
 
10+ years of hands-on experience in development, maintenance, and enhancements of Informatica Mappings, Workflows, and processes for a data warehouse
10+ years of experience working closely with data architects, data analysts, and source application teams on ETL development efforts
8+ years of leadership experience, managing and coordinating an Informatica team
Excellent analytical, organization, presentation, and facilitation skills; ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Knowledge of testing tools and techniques
