Role: Azure Data Architect

Location: Farmington, Connecticut (ONSITE M-F, no remote option)

 12+ Months Contract

 

Key Requirements:
 

An Excellent communicator with 10 + years of Exp and 5+ Years as a BI/Data Azure Solution Architect
Expertise in RFPs, POC’s, Estimates, Sizing, Scalability, Proposals for BI projects
Delivery mind set with  POV on Modern DWH tools Like Databricks/Snowflake along and Modern BI tools like  Power BI/Qlik

Must have skills:

Azure Data Architect, MDM Strategy, Snowflake

Other Details:

Data Solution Architect.

10 + years of Exp
5+ Years as a BI/Data Azure Solution Architect
Expertise in RFPs, POC’s, Estimates, Sizing, Scalability, Proposals for BI projects
Must have worked as an architect for enterprise grade Azure data solution
Must have hands on skills in SSIS, Power BI and Qlik

Must have POV on the tools like Databricks, Snowflake
Must be a Peoples person & excellent communicator
Must have understanding of Designing, data association and storage architecture.
Must have Fair understanding of CI/CD Devops implementations.

Good to Have exp in:
 

Experience on Manufacturing Domain
Managed the Support engagements with ticket/event based pricing
Worked and lead teams as a Scrum Master
Consult, Design, Build and Deploy Business Intelligence applications, experience in complete lifecycle from requirement gathering, data modeling - scripting, developing and testing reports, dashboards, scorecards and KPI Trackers.
Have experience in handling multiple sources, development, cloud migrations, Azure cloud tools, documentation & change management
Owned end-to-end technical delivery management of various Data & analytics projects / programs.
Handled Cloud TRANSFORMATION program. Managed all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, Risk management, change control management at the program level. Consolidation of all the reports at the program level & present it to senior management such as status reports, budget reports, health of program & value delivered.
Worked closely with stakeholders and SMEs to formulate Technology strategy, Architecture guiding principles and Technology roadmap related to the Data Architecture, Enterprise BI ,EDW, Enterprise data lake and Enterprise Analytical platform using cloud technologies
Complex Data Modeling which involves heterogeneous data & data sources (Flat Files, excels, QVDs, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Databricks, web services etc)
