Faceted Navigation support in Hippo CMS 10

Hi,

I am using Hippo 10 enterprise edition.

I have setup faceted navigation node in hippo and trying to consume it from delivery tier (component)

I am trying to get handle on HippoFacetNavigationBean , which is bean of type hippofacnav:facetnavigation (the same node which is created for faceted navigation in content)

Although , through cms console I can see the faceted navigation working , but I am not able to get it as HST query result.

Also , I could not see hippofacnav:facetnavigation entry in namespaces in console. 

1. Can this be a reason that I am not able to get handle on the bean. If yes, then how is faceted navigation node working fine in console?

2. Is faceted nav well supported in Hippo CMS 10 , for handling this requirement? Any good examples/resources ?

If the faceted tree is working in the console, you've got everything you need on that end.

 

2. Is faceted nav well supported in Hippo CMS 10 , for handling this requirement? Any good examples/resources ?

Yes, it should work. There is a standard Facets Component you can use in the delivery tier:

I was looking at Hippo 11 faceted search guide, but the method signature is a bit different for Hippo 10.
