Drop down Menu in Hippo

Hi,
Can anyone help me on how to create two level drop down menu using free marker template language for gogreen-iteration-2-3.2.0 community version of HIPPO. I have gone through the drop-down menu on right side of the About page of Go-Green site but could not find much information on creating two level drop-down menu for Navigation of the Go-Green site for hippo community edition such that whenever mouse cursor is hovered on any Menu item, is should expand and show the level one menu and level two menu inside it.

I will appreciate if any help is provided on this.

Hi Hetvi,

you just need to have appropriate javascript/css and render menu markup expected by javascript/css implementation. 

This should be your choice, by default we provide bootstrap css so you could try using bootstrap navbar, described here:

http://getbootstrap.com/components/#navbar

Thanks Marijan for replying and sharing the link. 

I am interested in knowing about the code that help me fetch the menu items from HIPPO Repository. I have added node of  menu items for first level menu and second level menu in the "http://localhost:8080/cms/console/", and I have created the Free marker template (i.e. .ftl file) for rendering that first level and second level menu on the site. 

But in the template I am unable to retrieve those menu item nodes from repository.  I have edited the bootstrap.css and added required div tags. So I appreciate if you can help with the code to retrieve menu item nodes from repository.

I am attaching the snapshot here so that you can have idea.
