Hi All

Can we use Mongo DB with hippo as a repository instead of relational database like MySQL or Oracle.
I went through the following post, but need a little bit more clarity on the topic.
Please can some one guide me, I would really be grateful.

Hi Hitesh,

as far as I know, Jackrabbit (2.0) has no persistence manager that works with Mongo DB. So this is not going to be possible unless someone creates one.

I'm not sure about why you'd want this, as there are very good relational database tools out there for daily backup, restore, etc that you might not have with Mongo.

Was there a reason you're keen on using Mongo?

Thanks!

William
