use of links in memo

I wanted to put a link in the memo section of my calendar using the <a
href= > format. But when I clicked the link, my address became
prefixed with www.hipcal.com/ and of course errored out as a incorrect
address. I signed out of my account and when I returned the the HTML
code for my link was gone. Can we use html formatting in our calendars?

Right now we do not allow any HTML markup to be used, but website links
are a special case. We'd like to turn web addresses into links
automatically, but this hasn't been implemented yet.
