We have come to know of a report, funded by USCIRF and authored by UK based Iqtidar Karamat Cheema, that is misleading, lacks factual research or reference and defames the U.S. based charitable organizations and the minority Hindu community of the United States including HSS. Such an opinionated misleading writings undervalue the objectives of our Nation's policy of not to support terrorism in any shape and form and hence, should be construed as misuse of taxpayers’ funds.

Upon further research, it was found that the said author has politically biased opinions about India. His published writing in the media appears to tacitly justify terrorist activities.

 

Hon. Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has taken an initiative to ask USCIRF these questions through Congress and we need to support her initiative.  it is also our responsibility to protect defaming HSS.

For this reason, all of us need to call House of Representatives requesting them concern about the report, "Constitutional and Legal Challenges Faced by Religious Minorities in India" published by the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom or USCIRF to be a co-signatory to Tulsi ji's letter.
