Namaste,
We feel happy to share an amazing and successful event with you all.
From March 30th to April 2nd HSS Alameda Nagar organized a Musical Camp (Ghosh Varg) during Fremont School Spring Break.
The camp was for 4 days, including a talent show and sleepover on Friday night. Around 35 shikshartis (vadaks) attended the camp and enjoyed learning Vamsi (flute) and Anak (drum) instruments.
Children were excited about their ability to play a new instrument!! The camp was not limited to kids; parents/ adults participated in it enthusiastically.
Beginning 2 days camp was conducted at Lake Elizabeth park. The cool breeze at lake Elizabeth park Fremont was filled with the melody of the
Sapt Swaras!!. Remaining 2 days camp was held at one of shakha families home including Friday sleepover and Saturday morning
parthyashik sanghastan .
Kids presented their talents and got the opportunity to earn a prize after playing one of the
Vamshi rachana from the camp syllabus.
Saturday morning they did yoga, games; enjoyed breakfast together. All shikshartis did prathyashik (demonstration) of what they learnt during these 4 days in front of
bhagava dwaja in sanghastan.A small video has been created covering all the activities of the camp. Here is the video link
