------Namaste AllQuick action needed from everyone. Need to call CNN on Thursday April 6th!!To ensure a non-stop chain of phone calls to CNN expressing our concerns.Reason:
- Incorrect information about Hindu projected in through BELIEVERS show on CNN
- Hindus earlier response - engagement with CNN in person, protests and such expressions requesting cancel screening. Also requested apology
- So far no response response CNN. Their assumption is that the topic will die down.
- Proposed action: Conduct a concentrated call campaign expressing unhappiness re: BELIEVERS show on CNN and request to cancel the show and public apology.
- Many individuals from other organizations will be part of it. Let us be part of it too.

You can either hold and speak to the operator directly or leave a voicemail. Either option works.
Use the following script:
“As a Hindu American, I am deeply disturbed by Believer’s error-ridden episode on Aghoris and Hinduism and by CNN’s unwillingness to engage with the community despite our continued outreach. I strongly urge CNN to stop any rebroadcast of this episode on TV and any streaming services like Netflix.”
Every call matters.
Do your part and join our one day call in campaign.
Please stick to the script. CNN needs to hear the same message over and over. Please do not attack Reza Aslan personally, or refer to CNN as “fake news” or “racist,” as it will only diminish the importance of our cause in CNN’s eyes.
