We are seeking a Systems and Data Analyst to join our Product Systems Operations team. This position will provide technical support for applications used by the engineering community to design Boeing products. The focus will be to provide application end-user support to local Boeing design engineers at Bangalore, but also to participate with US counterpoints to provide world-wide support.
Required Skills:
• Provide L2 & L3 support for CAD/CAM applications such as Siemens-NX/TeamCenter, and PTC Creo Parametric / Windchill
• Provide technical support to customers by resolving technical calls on advanced software issues, and scanning errors.
• Relevant technology implementation and administration experience required, such as PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), CAD / CAM / CAE, Visualization, Digital Manufacturing.
• Prior experience with data migration, including import, export, and data mapping.
• Role requires application of advanced skills attained via greater years of experience towards solving complex issues and problems
• May act as Project Representative from immediate group they are assigned to in the resolution of problems/issues encountered across multiple functions which require a coordinated response.
• Operates and maintains the CAD/CAM software in proper configuration and assist team members in the use of CAD/CAM related tools and its enhancements.
• Recommends and assists in the implementation of goals and objectives, establishes schedules and methods for providing efficient and effective services to implements policies and procedures.
• Plans the daily operations of the CAD/CAM center in BIETC and provides ongoing technical assistance with CAD/CAM applications, processes and procedures.
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of definition and setup of software engineering environments, integration and test infrastructure environment
• Knowledge of principles of automated system development and design.
• Knowledge of technologies related to CAD/CAM applications like Siemens- NX/TeamCenter, and PTC Creo Parametric / Windchill
• Application operations or development support experience would be helpful
• Knowledge in providing betterment ideas to improve application performance.
• Sound ITIL knowledge with hands on experience utilizing ticketing tools like HPSM, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, etc..
• Ability to work in a high-paced dynamic environment with unknown requirements, deadline pressures etc.
• Key requirement is the ability to quickly learn and stay current with new technologies
• Exposure to performance tuning & resolving issues in previous engagements
• Need to have excellent team orientation skills. Good Communication Skills required..
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent Team player, Quick learner and Result oriented
Education And Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5 or more years of experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in supporting/customizing the tools.
• ITIL & Ticketing tool knowledge would be an added advantage.
• Should be able to manage, store and update documents as per requirements.
• Experience with documenting user guidelines, procedures and the definition of workflows and common strategy of the usage of the tools would be a plus.
