Job Description:
• Minimum 4 years of experience in component Design & Development of Locomotive
• Knowledge of Trucks and Platforms is desirable
• Able to analyse shop issues and provide solutions
• Should have worked on Concept generation using idea generation methods.
• Have good knowledge on validation process of components.
• Have good knowledge on New component introduction process.
• Should have worked in FMEA, Validation & Verification plan.
• Able to analyse shop issues and provide solutions
• Strong knowledge in Engineering standards followed [ANSI,ISO,ASTM]
• Good oral / written communication skill, English proficiency, MS office proficiency
• GD&T, Tolerance stack-up, DFA/DFM/DFS.
• Should have worked with cross-functional team of Designers, Engineers, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Field service and external consulting engineering teams.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in UG NX 6 or 7.5 with TcE knowledge
• Good in drawing reading skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and machining process. Skills required
• ANSI /ASME specification knowledge.
• Manufacturing/Shop floor exposure.
• Quality & Inspection measuring equipment knowledge. Personal soft skills
• Good in Communication
• Good analytical abilities
• Creativity and ingenuity
• Excellent work ethics
• Self-motivated
