Sri Andal is known as an Alwar, or Saint,
and is the only female among the
12 Alwars. Adamant
that she would only marry Lord Ranganatha, she merged with Him on Bogi, the last
day of the Tamil month of Margazhi. Andal Kalyana
Utsavam (wedding ceremony) will be performed on Sunday, the 10th
of January, 2010 at 4pm.
The
enclosed flier contains the details of the function. All devotees are requested
to participate in the Kalyana Utsavam.
1. We urgently need 15 volunteers for managing the
traffic arrangements for the New Year celebrations on
1/1/2010. They would be used in 2 hours slot and adequate precautions
would be taken not to expose to continuous cold weather. Adequate
instructions/ training would be given. Interested volunteers are requested
to contact the manager by emailing man...@hindumandirmn.org .
