Our temple is one of the few temples in U.S.A. having a mini temple for Lord Ayyappa. We started celebrating Ayyappa Mandala Puja from November 15, 2009 onwards. Many devotees have already begun their 41 days of austerities preparing for the pilgrimage to Sabarimala, Kerala, the abode of Lord Ayyappa. Devotees carry on their head puja ingradients packed in a bag with two pouches ( Irumudi).

 

Mandalam ( December 26, 2009) and Makara Vilakku ( January 14, 2010) are the two most important days for Lord Ayyappa. Those in U.S.A. not in a position to go to Sabarimala, can visit our temple with Irumudi.

 

Ayyappa Mandala Puja is being celebrated in our temple on December 26, 2009. Elaborate arrangements have been made to conduct Abhishekam, Archana, Harivarasanam etc from 5.45 p.m. onwards till 8 p.m. All devotees are requested to participate in above celebrations.
