Dear Ashok and the rest of the dear friends who read his messages and reacted.
I am not very surprised at the diatribe and the reactions. This very
lagoon of misunderstanding that you all show is reflective of our
national spirit. You think you as individuals are being very
wonderful, patriotic, religious or perhaps very humane but the reality
is that we are very selfish and greedy. India that we see today,
whether in India or in India spread over the world, is a fragmented
and fissured entity. It is not India ANYMORE!
The word Hindu that binds us all in one thread is perhaps the cause of
all your anger, frustration and differences? When it should be the
cause of love, compassion and unity.
I think we all waste much time playing with words and harnessing our
egos without focusing on the real issues. So far in various weeks of
reading these discussions, I have not seen a single thread that speaks
of love, unity and compassion, the most vital hallmarks of our
civilization for which we WERE once known and that which binds us all
in one single thread. I tried to know who this gentleman Ashok was
through a few links he provided and it appears that he is an
intelligent man but he himself admits that he is very bitter about his
life due to his personal failures in some respects.
I think he did not wish to unsubscribe from the list but wished to
react violently because he has many issues boiling in his mind and
instead of writing in a rational manner, he just pours the hot mental
stew in one shot over anyone near him.
I am sure he is an excellent person but has no social skills. If he
had he wont be so crude at least through his expressions. DESPITE all
we should not react to him with violence.
He seems to be very humane in his sites except that he is pro meat
eating which is ok as his personal view.
Dear Friend Ashok, life is what we make out of it and it is not all
that we see and feel today, but today what we have is the accumulation
of years of our past karmas.
IT IS NOT work of god or any rakshas but our own actions, thoughts and
decisions.
You have become very fanatic in your mind but instead of using this
fanatic power to help others you are simply using it as a fire bomb on
innocent readers who are reading these diverse thoughts. It does not
matter how old you are.
WHATEVER the case, look within first and learn to forgive other people
as they only speak or write what they have so far learned. It does not
mean that if you have more experience than them you need to throw
acidic words on them. They have the privilege to speak their minds
like you have. Isnt this civil and democratic way?
I think today India is full of talented and creative people like Ashok
T Jaisinghani ji but due to our foolishness and inflated ego we are
unable to channel their talents in right direction.
Please know that INDIA is NOT going to change or alter its course of
destiny just because you eat this or that or you believe in this or
that.
India is changing and so its people. The people with good old noble
values want to retain them and want to see them in practice but the
cruel and material world is taking over the good world and we as a
civilization are being replaced by a vicious, greedy and selfish
tribal culture like most Western countries who are yet to be civilized
in spiritual sense.
All you people ONLY see material aspect of things without realizing
the spiritual aspect which is the real aspect. LOOK within and find
this aspect of yours and treat others with love and compassion.
ONLY then you have rights and privileges to call yourself a human
being. Being Hindu without being a good responsible human being is as
peaceful as Islam and these secular intellectuals who are trying to
polish India as rich, hip nation of nerds, when in reality we are
extremely backward and not yet civilized.
