Please join us for a lovely garden evening of acoustic music featuring Hinds Brothers and special guest, Faye Oakes live at St Clements this Friday 15th April. Don't miss these dynamic musicians in this intimate setting. This will be the brothers' final gig before they head off to Johannesburg at month end to commence the recording of their as yet untitled debut album. Dinner and drinks will be available. Faye Oakes
Faye studied music at the acclaimed National School of the Arts. An original South African songstress with her own style which can best be described as a meeting of folk, blues and jazz. Her beautifully fragile voice has been compared to artists such as Joanna Newsom and Kate Bush.
Hinds Brothers
Although inspired and influenced by the artists of The Great Musical Renaissance of the 60’s and 70’s, Hinds Brothers aka Aden & Wren Hinds have evolved a style uniquely and undeniably their own. Acoustically driven, their songwriting is insightful, lyrical and melodic. These qualities, perfectly complimented by voices of great originality and beauty, make live performances by these young musicians an intimate, dynamic and unforgettable experience. Imbued with such talent, both as vocalists and writers of songs, Hinds Brothers are destined to leave their indelible mark on the musical landscape.
