Hinds Brothers Live at Musketeers (German Club)

Thursday 22nd December

Thursday 22nd December sees the final Durban show of the year for Hinds Brothers Aden and Wren, hosted by Musketeers at the German Club in Westville. The music begins at 19h30 with an opening set by the beautiful and very talented Faye Oakes. If you have not as yet heard Faye the time has arrived. Her music is gentle and embracing, her voice sweetly alluring - original music executed with an air of fragile beauty.

The Hinds brothers have been inspired and influenced by many artists, from their father Kevin Hinds (EMI recording artist in the 70's), to the late Syd Kitchen. Still the brothers have evolved a style uniquely and undeniably their own. Acoustically driven, their song writing is insightful, lyrical and melodic, while their voices blend into an unmistakable harmony. These qualities, perfectly complimented by voices of great originality and beauty, make live performances by these young musicians an intimate, dynamic and unforgettable experience. Imbued with such talent, both as vocalists and writers of songs, Hinds Brothers are destined to leave their indelible mark on the musical landscape. They recently signed a publishing deal with Sony and are currently in the process of recording their debut full-length album.

As the year comes to a close, the brothers have shows on both the south and north coast of KZN, but only this one last show in Durban for the year – so don't miss this opportunity to catch two of South Africa's great up and coming acoustic acts live. Entrance is only R40, while food and drinks are readily available.
