Hinds Brothers Live at St Clements - Friday 27th Jan
Hinds Brothers perform this Friday 27th January at St Clements on Musgrave, and will be supported by the young, beautiful and talented Faye Oakes. Music begins at 8pm, but arrive from 7pm so as to wine, dine and find good seating before the show. Entrance is R50 and booking is strongly recommended. To book please call 031 202 2511.
If you have not as yet heard Faye the time has arrived. Her music is gentle and embracing, her voice sweetly alluring - original music executed with an air of fragile beauty. The brothers will be performing mostly a selection of original songs from their upcoming album, as well as a few songs written by some of their favourite artists including Syd Kitchen, Jonathan Handley and Bob Dylan.
Hinds Brothers
The Hinds Brothers have been inspired and
influenced by many artists, from their father Kevin Hinds (EMI recording artist
in the 70's), to the late Syd Kitchen. Still the brothers have evolved a style
uniquely and undeniably their own. Acoustically driven, their song writing is
insightful, lyrical and melodic, while their voices blend into an unmistakable
harmony. These qualities, perfectly complimented by voices of great originality
and beauty, make live performances by these young musicians an intimate,
dynamic and unforgettable experience. Imbued with such talent, both as
vocalists and writers of songs, Hinds Brothers are destined to leave their
indelible mark on the musical landscape. They recently signed a publishing deal
with Sony and are currently in the process of recording their debut full-length
album.
