SoI tried acrordrdc edge which works fine on my computer but I cannot print a document instead of the printer dialog box, I have got a warning to install a printer before.

In my home/.wine I have my printer correctly defined and other wine applications could access to my printer but I guess acrordrdc used its own .wine repertory in snap/acrordrdc and there is no printer defined inside.

I installed the acrordrdc (Adobe Reader DC) snap, and I want to open all the pdf files with that app, but in 'Open With...' it's not listed.

On gnome I can't find the option 'Select a not listed program', and in the 'View all applications' list I cannot find Acrobat.

If you are not going to edit, then I would recommend Okular over any Adobe rubbish! Okular is free and in the repository - You can extract text and put it in a Text Processor. You can also extract images and tables. If the pdf is not OCR then you can use a command line application 'ocrmypdf' - I had to use both extensively whilst working from home until I retired, modifying documents for students with low vision. Okular is a pdf viewer and data extraction tool and so much more!

Does Okular have a typewriter function so that I can add text and numbers to an existing health care form I made ..... I keep a record of all my Lab reports so I can review them ..... so I need to type the new readings into the form I made up ....

Right now unfortunately I am having to go back to Windows to use Acrobat Pro to type in my new results .... with Acrobat Pro it is very easy .... just go to the block you want the info in in able typewriter mode and type it in ....

Wine tego też nie chce uruchomić w żadnej akceptowalnej wersji. A potrzebuję wersji odczytującej rządowe pliki z PIT36, 37itp z wtyczkami.

Nie znajdziesz żadnego aktualnego repo z Adobe reader, ponieważ wsparcie zakończyło się w 2014 roku! Jeśli uda Ci się zainstalować tę nieutrzymywaną wersję na swoim komputerze, rozerwiesz niezliczone luki w zabezpieczeniach. Adobe nie dostarcza już wersji linuxowej.

Otż, żeby otworzyć i wypełnić formularz np PIT-36 pobrany ze strony US, być może Evince wystarczy. Jednak, żeby wysłać ten formularz do US poprzez serwer, ktry od razy zrobi sprawdzenie i potem wyśle potwierdzenie odbioru potrzebna jest wtyczka e-deklaracje do Adobe Readera. Nie wiem, bo nie prbowałem, czy da się taką operację przeprowadzić w Evince. Obawiam się, że dlatego jest zrobiona wtyczka e-deklaracje do Adobe, żeby nie było można z innych softw skorzystać. A wysyłanie tego papierowo jakoś mi się nie uśmiecha.

Aktualny, czyli ten 2022? A ten PlayOnLinux to nie jest to samo, co ten nieszczęsny Wine? Wine sobie nie poradził z żadną wersją readera poczynając od tej najnowszej a na 7 skończywszy. Prawie cały dzień walczyłem

Mam właśnie problem z podpisanym pdf. Okular i Evince w Suse pokazują, że podpisy są prawidłowe, ale od czasu podpisania w dokumencie nastąpiły zmiany. Nie wiem, co to może oznaczać. Adobe Reader w Androidzie zachowuje się identycznie.

Odinstalowanie snapa odinstaluje wszystko. Być może będziesz chciał sprbować nowszej wersji, czyli *snap install acrordrdc --edge. *Po prostu sprawdź, czy ktraś wersja zadziała z tą wtyczką.

Adobe Inc develops the Adobe Acrobat family. The Adobe reader is available for direct download on Windows and Mac OS. It can be installed on Android and IOS as well. There are multiple languages available for installing Adobe Reader. Adobe does not provide a direct download option on the Linux systems as it used to do earlier. In this guide, we will see some workaround for installing Adobe Reader on the Fedora operating system.

Snap is the easiest way to install Adobe Acrobat Reader like many other popular Linux applications. Snap applications are packaged with all required dependencies. You only need to discover and install them from the Snap Store. We need first to install snap on Fedora. Open a terminal (alt+ctrl+T) and type the below command:

This process may take some time to download various files like snapd, core18, acrordrdc, etc. Open System monitor on your Fedora OS and go to the Resources tab. Here you can see the downloaded data at the bottom left side of the System monitor as shown here:

During the installation, it will ask for the language of installation for Adobe Acrobat. Simply select English or any other language you want and click install to continue. See the below screenshot for reference:

Once you enter OK, it will launch the Adobe Acrobat Reader main window. A new window will also prompt up, asking you to accept the Adobe Acrobat Reader Distribution License Agreement. This is shown in the screenshot below:

It will print some text on the terminal and ask you to enter the installation directory. You can choose the default (/opt) or enter a new one. We are pressing the enter key to select the default directory.

We recommend that you use native applications on Linux for managing PDF files. This is because Adobe has stopped supporting Linux for a long time, so you may have to waste a lot of time finding many dependencies and settling the conflicts between them.
