Hindi USA 2017 - 2018 Session Starts September 8th

Namaskar Parents,

 

Hopefully all of you had an fun-filled summer. We are all very excited to welcome the children of Hindi USA community. 

It is a privilege to be teaching your kids and it is very satisfying to see our children progress.

 

Classes will start on Friday 8th September 7 pm @Stamford High School.  

Class-rooms location will be same from last year: 

 

S-1(Starter 1)               - Room No 710

S-2(Starter 2)               - Room No 711

B-1(Beginner 1, sec A)   - Room No 712

B-1(Beginner 1, sec B)   - Room No 713 

B-2 (Beginner 2)         - One level up(volunteers will be there to help)
I-1 (Intermediate 1)    - One level up (volunteers will be there to help)
I-2 (Intermediate 2)    - One level up (volunteers will be there to help)
I-3 (Intermediate 3)    - One level up (volunteers will be there to help)
A-1(Advanced 1)         - One level up (volunteers will be there to help)

A-2(Advanced 2)         - One level up (volunteers will be there to help)

 

 We will send kids level of new registrants by next week. 

Few General Rules.

-> We request parents to review kids homework regularly. 
-> Please send kids prepared for the class(with pencil, pen, eraser etc. and books). 
-> PLEASE make sure that your child has used the restroom BEFORE they come to class. These are younger kids, one wants to go  they all follows.

-> Please try to make sure that kids should arrive 5 minutes before the class starts.

-> There is enough parking @ backside of building(towards tennis court.) Please leave front parking for teachers and for drop off(NO DROP OFF AT GATES, only at class room). There is entrance from tennis court side to these classrooms.

-> We will follow Stamford School calendar. If school is closed, we will be closed too. In case of snow, if there is early dismissal, we will be closed as well. However if school has delayed opening, our classes will continue at regular time.

Diwali Celebrations

We will soon have our first event, celebration of the festival of lights, Diwali. 

Please mark your calendar for - Friday,October 27 

Please coordinate with Babita Ji for participation. 

 

Our Diwali celebration is always full of amazing cultural performances by Hindi USA kids.

 Some  guidelines..

1) Each performance should have at least 6 kids (for stage coverage and to try and include most kids)
2) Each performance should not exceed 5-6 minutes 
3) Each kid can participate in only ONE performance (It should be hassle-free)
4) Each performance is responsible for providing their music, costume etc
5) All performances are choreographed and directed by volunteer parents. So please talk to the other parents in classroom.

 Hopefully all of you had a fun-filled summer. We are very excited to welcome the children of Hindi USA community. 

It is a privilege to teach Hindi to our kids and is very satisfying to see our children progress.

Classes will start on Friday 14th September  7 pm @Stamford High School.

Few General Rules.

-> We request parents to review kids homework regularly. 
-> Please send kids prepared for the class(with pencil, pen, eraser etc. and books). 
-> PLEASE make sure that your child has used the restroom BEFORE they come to class. These are younger kids, one wants to go  they all follows.

-> Please try to make sure that kids should arrive 5 minutes before the class starts.

After a successful Diwali and Thanksgiving Celebration, it's time to get back to studies.

Half yearly exams for all classes will be held on 

07th Dec   Oral 

14th Dec Written.  

Class teachers will send additional details  regarding syllabus covered in exams.

(Make immediate Left after entering from the main entrance )
