Dear Sanjay ji,
Thanks for having a look at the Navgeet paintings by the Hon’ President award winner for Hindi Sewa Smt. Poornima ji. Alongwith the paintings there was a booklet of Kendriya Hindi Sansthaan, mentioning about the criteria and special works & contributions for Hindi Sewa across the world of the various awardees of the Hon’ President’s Award. On receiving the envelope back, Dr. Poornima informed that the Award Booklet was not there, which I had informed Nithya. I reminded her also, but it seems that she had forgotten about it in the hurry & worry for her vacations.
May I request you to advise your staff to have a glance and let me know if they come across that only copy of the prestigious award booklet.
Further, may I request you to kindly confirm, as you had mentioned, last year on independence day to have paintings exhibition at the Consulate Hall, whether to have the Navgeet Painting exhibition on the auspicious occasion of our Independence Day this year.
We have also booked the Shk Rashid Auditorium for our Hindi Diwas Celebration on Thursday, 13th Sep ( as Friday 14th is not available ).
Best Regards,
Abhimanyu Giri

Dear Sanjay ji,
Namaste !
With ref to my brief discussion with Nithya, this is to bring to your kind notice that our friend and senior Hindi volunteer has recently ( on last 20th June ) received the Hon’ President’s Award for the year 2008 for her great, selfless and unique services rendered for the promotion of Hindi along with Mr. Harman of Texas University, in the kind presence of the Hon’ Minister for HRD Mr. Kapil Sibbal and many other dignitaries in a grant function at the Ashoka Hall of the Raashtrapati Bhawan. Some of the memorable pics can be seen by clicking the following link - www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151026790290540.475407.648260539&type=3
I wish to come alone and show you her Awards pictures and some of her works ( unique blend of Paintings, Pictures and Hindi Poetry on A2 size sheets ). If you would further permit, we would love to display the same on the auspicious occasion of our Independence Day,
Looking forward to your kind advise,
Sincerely yours,
Abhimanyu Giri
