1) When = kab    whenever = jab bhii   When we get back = jab ham vaapas aayege. ( got from one of my books)   I want to say ; When we...     Which do I use kab or jab?   What is the difference in the two uses of these words? I know I am supposed to know this by now, but I do not.   2)  I want to say something has occurred.    What word would I use?       Is there a verb for ;  to occur?   3)  I also want to say " I had a feeling"  Would I use  " mahasuus karnaa"  for to experience?    Or would I use "vicaar" for thought?   4)  What word would I use for "to connect?"    Using "connect" as a relationship term.           Sorry for all of the questions.   Many thanks! when you want to ask about something... example

Aap kab wapas aaoge

jab is used when you want to say something with time as reference
point... you are not expecting a reply here example

Jab mein wapas aaya to meine dekha ...

2) the closest meaning to occur in hindi is : huaa -- similar to
happen...

3) you are correct closest to Feeling in Hindi is "mahasoos karna"..
or you can say "lagataa hai"

4) connect translation in Hindi could be "samparark" if it is in
relation with objects.. and in relation to relationship with people..
you could use "sambandh"
