Dear HindiWriter Users,

I'm glad to announce the release of Version 1.4 of HindiWriter - the phonetic Hindi Writer software.

Changes in Version 1.4:

• New: WordLookup feature to suggest word completions.
• New: Spell Check support for OpenOffice.org 2.0
• New: "Getting Started with HindiWriter" guide.
• Update: Added support for ऍ(ae, .c) and ऑ(ou, .C).
• Update: Added alias oo for ऊ.
• Update: Minor updates to the dictionary.
• Removed Ctrl+F12 as the TransPaste key (Alt+INS still works)
• Fix: Crash when closing applications.
• Fix: Spell Check not working right with large dictionaries.
• Fix: Corrections to the transliteration map for TT(ट्ट) and ThTh(ठ्ठ)

It took much longer than expected to release this, primarily because I did not work on it for a long time!
