Dear Mr Ajay,

IT WILL BE GOOD TO SERVE THE POOR YOUNG PATIENT .

BUT BEFORE OPENING THE ACCOUNT IN SBI, AT PGI CHANDIGARH IN THE NAME OF THE YOUNG GIRL.

I STRONGLY FEEL THAT BANK A/C HOULD NOT BE OPENED IN SBI AS THE POOR GIRL WOULD BE RECEIVIG THE DONATIONS/ FUNDS FROM MOST OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GROUP AND OTHERS THROUGH ONLINE TRANSACTIONS SETTLED IN THE COUNTRY AS WELL FROM OTHER COUNTRIES .

AS PER THE POLICY OF THE SBI ANY ONLINE TRANSACTION MADE INTHE ACCOUNT OTHER THAN THE NON HOME BRANCH WOULD BE DEBIITED BY RS 100/ PER TRANSACTION IRRESPECTIVE OF THE AMOUNT DEPOSITED .

THIS WAY THE POOR GIRL WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET MUCH AMOUNT FOR TREATMENT AND WOULD BE LOSSING THE MONEY.

hi,

though it is heartning to see so many people coming forward to offer financial help, it is not what may be required at present. i read the article in the him vani site. the immediate need is an O+ve kidney and not money. the article says that the CM of himachal is offering the financial help.

kidney donation laws in india are quite complex. the best legal option is that her blood relative donates the kidney. i'm a healthcare management consultant and i know the complexities of kidney donation in india.

also, i feel that the entire procedure can be done for FREE if she is taken to AIIMS or MAMC in delhi. i may be able to organise that provided a donor is arranged first.

so, though we have the right intentions and motives, let us also have the right direction. lets get a donor first.

Dear Vivek,

YOU HAVE VERY RIGHTLY SAID THAT THE FIRST REQUIREMENT FOR RITA IS KIDNEY. IN HER FAMILY, ONLY HER FATHER IS 'O' + . BUT DUE TO HIS OWN HEALTH PROBLEMS, HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO DONATE HIS KIDNEY. THE QUESTION IS THAT HOW THAT GIRL WILL SURVIVE WITHOUT MONEY FOR EXPENSIVE MEDICINES AND DIALYSIS TILL SHE FINDS A DONOR ? THE H.P. GOVT. WILL BEAR ONLY TRANSPLANT EXPENSES, NOT THE DAY TO DAY EXPENSES.THAT IS THE REASON WHY WE ARE TRYING TO MOBILIZE SUPPORT. I AM SURE NOW YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM.
