Hi all, here's our question of the week. Hope you find this useful.
Question: How do I clean my braille display?
Answer: Use alcohol wipes that are at least 89 to 90 percent alcohol, and not water based also make sure that they are swabs and not cotton. You can find these usually in the Pharmacy isle or section near the pharmacist. Create a text file with full cells, and a blank line. As you gently move this alcohol swab across the display, use your scroll buttons to move the pins up and down. This will allow the alcohol to get inside of the pins and should help clean the display. Bear in mind that this doesn't always help when cells are weak. If you try this a couple of times with no results, your device may need servicing.
It is also best to use your device with clean, dry hands and/or the dust cover.
Thanks.
