Question: My iDevice no longer sees my Braille Device. How can I fix this?
Answer: You will need to completely power down the iDevice and hard reset your notetaker. Once the notetaker comes up with File Manager, navigate to and activate Terminal Mode, choosing Bluetooth (Serial Port). Once you see Terminal Mode, power up the iDevice and try pairing again.

Question: How can I keep my iDevice paired at all times with my Braille Sense?
Answer: Try these tips.
When you are done with the iDevice and the Braille Sense, put the iDevice to sleep first. Don't leave Terminal Mode until the iDevice is asleep. Some people call this locking the screen.
You will know when it is asleep because the entire Braille Display will be blank.
You can then either turn your Braille Sense off, or use the exit Terminal For Screen Reader command to close the program and return to note-taker mode.  On the Braille Sense with the Braille keyboard, this command is backspace+space+z. On the Braille Sense with the QWERTY keyboard, this command is alt+x.
When you're ready to return to the iDevice with using your Braille Sense as a Braille Display, activate Terminal For Screen Reader first. On a U2 Braille keyboard, choose Bluetooth (Serial Port). On a QWERTY Keyboard, choose Bluetooth (Serial Port) with Mobile Devices). Press ENTER, and you will see Terminal Mode. Unlock or wake up the iDevice. After about 5-30 seconds you should see Braille again.
