Club elections and call for Nominations-2024-2025

Dear all,

The month of June holds special significance in the Toastmasters calendar! It is the month of change and transformation! Like each year, the time has come to pass on the leadership baton of the club to a new group of leaders! 

I would like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to the outgoing Executive Committee led by Toastmaster Chandni whose leadership for 2 consecutive years has enabled the club to conquer newer summits of growth and achievements!

As members, the onus lies on us to choose yet another vibrant executive committee of passionate and strong leaders who will take the club to newer heights!  Thus, upholding the democratic values of Toastmasters International, we are conducting  Elections for the New Executive Committee of Himalaya Toastmasters Club for the term 2024-2025 on 20th June, 2024.

I would also like to thank Toastmaster Prashant Shrestha for kindly accepting to assume the role of Election Commissioner for the club election 2024-2025. 

The club election is a democratic process and any member in good standing who feels that they are up to the following leadership roles can kindly send your expression of interest to Prashant Shrestha (separately) at prashants...@gmail.com by 13th June, 2024. 

• If you prefer to learn documentation and knowledge management, you might choose to become Secretary.
•  If you enjoy administration, event planning, organization, procurement and logistics, go for the Sergeant at Arms.
• If you enjoy maintaining accounts and financial transparency in the club, go for Treasurer.
•  If you like to welcome new people and organize social events, then the Vice President Membership is made for you. 
• If you’d like to support our members in their learning path, then the Vice President Education may be the perfect role.
• If you have a nice network and like to write newsletters and ads, think of the Vice President Public Relations. 
  
• If you like to support team members and take accountability for the progress of the club, think of the President.

Meanwhile, as a custom, the nominations committee has proposed the following members for various roles in the executive committee. Everyone in the proposed list kindly send your confirmations of participating in the election to Toastmaster Prashant by the above stipulated date. Having said that, please note that  All Roles (except IPP) are open for contest.
