AdVentura: Trekking Equipment Purchase
As trekking season is in full swing, our members felt that there is a need to purchase their own set of trekking gears. Based on popular demand we have decided to place bulk order for the benefit of our members. Since last couple of weeks we were evaluating quality and price of various vendors. We are planning to purchase Backpack (40L), Sleeping Bag and Sleeping Mat. We have collected feedback from our members and based on their inputs we are customizing Back Pack and Sleeping Bag only for AdVentura.

1. Can I place an order for some other equipment also? Ans: No. This order is only for BP,SB and SM. We can help you get a discount with vendor for other equipment, but that will be a separate order.
2. Can I choose the style/model of the BP & SB. Ans: No. We will place an order for the same model that will be here with me as a sample. But, if the number of requests exceeds 20 or more for different model, then we can place that also as a separate order. The price for the new model will be different then mentioned above 3. Can I choose the color of BP & SB? Ans : You can specify your preference. We will try. But, no garuntee. On the day when the equipment is being distributed, you will have to come early & get what you want.
4. Is infosys providing any discount? Ans: Infosys does not have anything to do with AdVentura club. AdVentura club is run by a few like minded people. We are doing this purely on a personal front, just to extend our help to other hikers/trekkers.
5. Mode of Payment. Ans: Infinity transfer or give cheque in favor of above mentioned ICICI account. You can give cheque to me at my (Visha...@infosys.com) desk between 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 5:00PM only.
6. Can I buy for some of my friends? Ans: Yes. But, you will be responsible for all transactions. We will not deal with your friends directly. The equipment will also need to be collected by you. Also ask your friend to be member of AdVentura is he/she is not.
7. Is it possible to cancel the order? Ans: Order once placed can not be cancelled. However if you can get the replacement for your order then it is fine.
