Himalayas in India are much much different than any range in the world.

1. Do not try to educate himalayan people about thier riligion/rituals
and beliefs. They are very close to thier values-perhpas more than we
are.

2. Do not try to distribute sweets/candies and medicines. This will set
a fashion and they will be expecting from everyone who goes there after
you. Moreover-this has been seen through our years of experience that
villagers fake thier problems to get medicine and try to use them
later. Usualy forgets what they were for. Medical problems from sing
expired medicines given by trekking groups had also been reported from
mountains. So please avoid !

3. Do not throw your polypacks in mountains ,collect them in dustbin
pit( we will make one !) and burn in the end of your camp.

4. Do not leave the trek /trail without informing your guide. This is
for your safety and security.

5. Always follow instructions given to you. How much experience of
adventure and outdoor one has-you can never challenge wisdom of a
shepherd !!
Sameway-do trust your guide-his every decision and worry is for your
safety and well being. Have a healthy debate but if you choose to over
rule-responisibility of consequences will be with you only.

6. If you are suffering from any disease and taking any medication, DO
inform your guide about it. Human body- chemistry changes as soon as
you come to Himalayas and you may face trouble in use of certain
medicines.

7. Do not abuse, show hate for Tribal and village people of mountains.
They might not be as educated as we are but they are not less civilized
than us!! * Remember

8. Never expose your chest, lower body region in mountains. This
warning is specially for females. Exposure of fair skin usualy
generates a special interest from male community. Moreover- Chilled air
and cold temperature will make you sick in minutes and it can be life
threatening in further cases.

9.Always walk in group. Specially in jungle areas. Do not unnecessarily
whistle or make sounds. This is a false notion that making sounds while
in jungle will keep animals away. In fact. it
attracts/disturbs/irritates them. You are welcome to mother Nature and
we wish that your experience with us will be able to cultivate a
interest and passion for nature and adventure. Incase you need any
