Dear Members of the Hillside Rod & Gun Club of Blossburg,
2008 Membership Cards
2008 membership cards are now available at the club. Existing Life members can pick up their cards at the club or wait for them to be mailed out with the annual newsletter. If you’ve turned 65 and have been a member of the club for at least 5 years then you are eligible to receive your life membership. Just notify the person filling out the membership card that you are eligible for your life membership status. Dues for regular members are $15.00. After 12/31/2007 there will be an additional $5.00 late fee. The last day for renewing your membership is the Game Dinner on February 16, 2008.

Watch the mail for the 2007 End of Year Newsletter which should be coming in a few weeks. Please be sure to read the newsletter as it contains important member information and news.
Game Dinner
The Hillside is currently taking donations of wild game meat for the Game Dinner. Meat can be dropped off at the Kitchen or you can contact Jim Lamonski at 570-638-3375. We’re looking to do an all donation dinner this year rather than the catered dinner like last year. As we get closer to the Game Dinner, we’ll be looking for volunteers to help cook.
Win a free Turkey for Thanksgiving!
Stop into the club on November 18th and get your chance on a Turkey. We’ll give away 1 Turkey an hour from 8 AM to 6 PM.
Gun and Bow Raffle!
We have a few tickets left for the Bow and Gun raffle going on now. There are only 100 tickets in total at $20.00 each. The winners will be pulled when all tickets have been sold. Stop in to the club and get yours today.

Rifle Range
Don’t forget to stop over to the Club Rifle Range to sight in your Gun.
Big Buck Contest
Big Buck Contest – Can be scored at Coopers Sporting Goods in Mansfield, PA. All entries will be scored using the Boone and Crockett scoring method. 1st Place: $100, 2nd Place: $50, 3rd Place: $25. It’s going on now through Jan. 12th, 2008.
