With a new single bin dumping sorting system at the center recycling should be more efficient. This might even make it possible to collect another recyclable material.

There will be a statewide ad campaign to promote recycling with ADEM partnering with Alabama Broadcasters.

Robin Edgeworth confirmed my suspicion that tonight's Council action on the armory site will pave the way for the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce's Edge facility. I told her that I thought it did not meet the criteria for a use of the land that would benefit the public. I said that  it was just another boondoggle to benefit the Chamber. She disagreed.

Before the meeting I shared notes at Chloes with an Al.com reporter about the Educate Tuscaloosa PAC. I told her who to talk to at the Probate Judge's office.
