Respected Sir,

This is to inform you that we the members residing in Hill Crest Society situated at Manpada, Ghodbunder Road, Thane (West)-400610 are having 186 flats comprising 6 buildings.

Since last 15 days since 27/03/2018 there is acute water supply to our Hill Crest Society which was not at all adequate to meet the requirement of all 186 members. Because of this reason, the water supply was curtailed to our members. Our Chairperson, Mrs.Sushma S.Goregaonkar contacted on phone several TMC water authorities, but there is no action taken so far.

We understand that TMC is giving curtailed water supply once in fortnight. We have given our request letter in person too to restore water supply to Water Supply Department but so far no action has been taken. We have communicated through ONLINE complaint, Letter in person, through emails to several higher authorities but we are yet to get the regular water supply. We are struggling for getting ample water supply.

We got to know that our surrounding societies at Manpada, Ghodbunder Road, Thane seems to be get adequate water supply.

In this connection, We would be much obliged if you can kindly look into this matter personally and resolve this water problem which is being faced by our all 186 Hill Crest Flat owners.

We are eagerly looking forward to your earnest action in this regard.

Thanking you in anticipation,

For and on behalf of Hill Crest CHSL,

to Municipal Commissioner Thane, Hillcrestsociety_managementcommittee, hillcrestsociety, Mrs.Sushma Goregaonkar, DR. R. GOVINDAN, Hill Crest
Respected Sir,

In continuation to my earlier mail dated 9th April 2018, regarding water supply problem which 186 members are facing in Hill Crest Society, Manpada Ghodbunder Road, Thane (W) till today, I would like to bring your kind attention on the following points:

(i) Mr.Ravindra Khadatele - Deputy Chief Engineer had contacted our Chairperson Mrs.Sushma Goregaonkar and promised to do the needful.
(ii) He had sent Mr.Sunil Bhangre to install new water pressure meter at the cost of Rs.5000/- 10 days back.
(iii) But after that no one visited our Hill Crest Society to see adequate water supply comes to Hill Crest Society or not.

In this connection, I would like to add that till today, water is coming at very low pressure for 15-45 minutes at three intervals viz. (a) Morning - 7.00 am (b) Afternoon - 12.30 pm (c) Evening 7 pm.(after 10 minutes with high pressure in beginning. As we understand from TMC that Hill Crest Society should get 186 x 5 x 135 = 12550 liters per day. But hardly we get this quantity).

In this connection, I would sincerely request you to look into this matter personally and help 186 members to get rid off this water supply problem every day.

Hope to receive adequate water supply of 12,550 litres per day as mentioned above.

Looking forward to receive your earnest action in this regard.

Dr.R.Govindan,
Hon'ble Secretary,
Hill Crest, Thane-400610.

186 x 5 x 135 = 1,25,550 ltrs but you you saying 12550 ltrs.

Can you explain the formula and what figure is correct.

He has to install new one bcoz old one not functioning. You might have approved
replace with new water meter to considering  acute shortage of water at our society.

Rs 5000/- not a big amount.

Paul
