PAY PROPERTY TAX ONLINE -

Dear Members,

This is to inform all the members that Property Tax for the current financial year 2015-16 is available ONLINE through TMC website - weblink given below and you can take the benefit of paying the same ONLINE without any hassles. 

(i) http://www.thanecity.gov.in/

(ii) https://propertytax.thanecity.gov.in/TMCPropertyTax/Citizen/Default.html

Procedure to pay your Property Tax ONLINE 

​(1) Click the ​

​weblink http://www.thanecity.gov.in/

(2)​

 ​ Select the​

​ Menu Property Tax Pay Online.

(3) It will ask you to download the software called "SILVERLIGHT" which you please allow it to install automatically.

(4) Once the software installed it will lead to the weblink given below:​

 ​ 
(ii) https://propertytax.thanecity.gov.in/TMCPropertyTax/Citizen/Default.html​

 

​(5) Move your cursor towards the Top Left to select Property SearchButton.

(6) Then type your Property No. in Enter PTN (PTN) e.g. 12021245 and type ​

 

​your Sub Code in Enter Sub code e.g. 00024

(7) Select Prabhag Samiti as Vartak Nagar Prabhag Samiti

(8) Enter the Digital Code and submit

(9) Wait till it opens your Property page

(10) Then click on PTN on the left side i.e. your Property Tax No. and wait

 ​...

(11) On the right hand side your property details including your bill will be shown 

(12) Click Pay Bill if you are satisfied with the amount shown and proceed to pay the bill either through credit card / debit card /  netbanking etc.

(13)After payment the pdf file containing the receipt is shown which u can save or print as desired

(14) U can get your Property Tax Bill by clicking View Property Tax Bill.

Please follow the above procedure to pay your property tax ONLINE from this year onwards. 

I presume that it is not necessary to post the bill and paying the courier/postal charge. 

I am attaching herewith the Property Tax Bill and Receipt which I paid for my flat 6/504 ONLINE today for your reference.

You can get the the Property Tax No. from your old bill also as in Marati it is written as "MALMATTA KRAMANK"

So far, TMC have not started ONLINE payment facility for Water Tax. I am trying my level best but it may take time to accomplish. Please pay your water bill in Manpada area.

i had word with bank and they are saying those extra 46Rs has been charged by TMC , but there wasn't mentioned on portal that there will be ant extra charge for CC payment but for netbanking it was mentioned that particaly % amount will be levied on amount

Hi Sushant,

I too had a similar case of charges while paying with my CC, but it was not more than Rs.20/- if I recall.

This is for using the payment gateways during online payment. TMC does not bear those expenses, they pass this to the consumers. This is quite commonly happening.

Dear Members,

As I understand that if you the property tax online through netbanking only there may not be any tax otherwise, if you pay through Debit card, credit card or any other cards, a tax of 1% or 2% or more depending the on bank cards, the charges are levied. I paid through netbanking with no extra charges.
