Is it true again this year that appeals will be taken on a first come
first serve basis ?

I saw a message that indicated they will assign numbers on the wait list automatically as was suggested last year.  You will need to go to confirm and hold your space on the wait list, but I'm not sure the timetable.  No 3am lining up if you are redirected.  Thank goodness!

 

Please confirm directly with Michael Bonino though.  I'd hate for that message to be wrong.

To be absolutely sure, you should call Mike Bonino at the OUSD. My
understanding is that last year, to be put on the wait list was a first
come first serve basis. This year, your number on the waitlist will be
provided if your child has not been admitted.
