Thank you so much for volunteering this Saturday, July 18th! WE ARE EXCITED TO CELEBRATE THE 10th ANNIVERSARY OF THIS AWESOME EVENT and simply could not do it without you!! 

Please READ CAREFULLY!!  Open all 4 attachments: waiver (bring to race signed), volunteer assignments, course overview, and helpful info. 

RACE MORNING: Arrive at your designated time and check in at the volunteer table located in front of the McNaughton Pool (5820 McNaughton) adjacent to Negley Elementary School. You will get a packet with your tee shirt to be worn during the race, a map with your assignment and emergency info.  Make your way to your assigned spot and be prepared and in place by 6:50am. RACE START IS 7AM!!  

The bathrooms are located inside the pool area. There are no bathrooms on the course, but we will have roving volunteers to handle breaks- just wave a volunteer down on the cart and we will help.  Water and breakfast tacos will be available but please be mindful you will be standing outside for appx three hours, so please plan accordingly.

WHAT TO BRING: Head lamp/flash light (sunrise is expected at 6:40am), sunscreen, hat, comfy shoes, extra snacks, water bottle, liability waivers and your HAPPY SHINY ENTHUSIASTIC SELF!  

PARKING: Limited parking is available in the school lot- DO NOT park on the course. Please be advised once the race startS (7AM), the course is CLOSED and no vehicles will be allowed to leave until the race has concluded at approximately 11:00 am. NO EXCEPTIONS!  If you have made prior arrangements to leave early with Leslie, DO NOT PARK ON THE COURSE OR IN THE LOT- park on a side street!   

LIABILITY WAIVERS: Please print and bring the completed Volunteer Waiver attached. ALL KIDS MUST HAVE FORM SIGNED BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN. Bring to the volunteer table and turn in at volunteer check in.

EMERGENCIES: CALL KATHY, RACE DIRECTOR at 512-853-0095 (emergency contact info is also on the back of each racers bib). There are medics located at the finish line and in front of Rocking Horse Academy at the intersection of Witte/McNaughton.    

APPRECIATION PARTY: You are invited to attend a party at Tavern on the Main in downtown Buda at 6pm evening of the race. Join us and let us thank you for all your hard work!!

**For those who have STAFF positions (you know who you are), see Leslie at the end of the race. Track her down and you will be golden!! **
