Gary,
I'm heading your way on 8/24 to ride the 116 - I'm having a little trouble registering as my memberships (I have 2) seem to be expired. Is there any way to fix ?

Jeff,
I'm hoping to ride Suspend Belief as an ACP Brevet 8/31, 9/7 or 9/14. Is it possible to add to the calendar ? I can be flexible on date, if others are interested.

Gary,
I hope to join you on 10/12 for the 300K and 12/7 for the 600K.

Looking forward to seeing you'all in the next few weeks

Nick

I’m planning the Dec 7th 600km, who else is in? We should agree on a hotel and get it booked, before prices go up, last year we all booked and then moved to a nicer place, due to Mark being in town, don’t want to double do this year.

Nick, I can get you Suspend as a RUSA brevet with one week notice. You'll have to wait until the spring to ride it ACP. LSR has ACP 400 on 10/12, Gary has ACP 400 11/02. RUSA brevets can be added as needed during the year, ACP brevets are calendared the year before.

I'm in for the 600k in December but I thought it was on a different weekend.

Can you add an ACP brevet to the calendar like that now?

Dan, I am in for the 600K. Whichever hotel.

Thanks All,

Looks like my plan is:

9/14 - Covington
10/12 - 300K A Lott of Troy Ouches
11/9 - 400K Willow Park
12/7 - 600K - Will book Days Inn

And on 8/31, I might try a flattish 200K, maybe San Marcos Stretch. Anyone is welcome to join me.

Updating the very fluid plan for fall:

1. Completed fun UAFB 200K in Dallas with Dan, Pam and team
2. Unexpected trip to India led to unexpected fun ACP 400K with Bangalore Randonneurs
3. 10/12 - ACP 300K from Salado
4. 10/19 - open to a permanent in Austin
5. All weekends in Nov - open to permanent, or ACP 1,000K
5. 12/7 - ACP 600K from Georgetown
7. 12/14 open

Open to gravel rides or road. Let me know if you want to join on some rides.

Best wishes,

Nick

Kind of curious what bike you used to ride 400K in India?  I assume since it was an unexpected trip that you didn't bring your bike with you.

I once rode an ACP200K "Casa Grande Ruins" in Arizona on a rental Giant OCR, I think it was.  I was there because UT was in the Fiesta Bowl, January 2009, IIRC.  The handlebars were about an inch lower than they are on my bikes with the maximum stem extension possible that they had in the shop, but other than that, it was fine.  Shifted real nice with 105 brifters compared to my bar ends on my Rivendell.

Jim,

I rented a Scott Addict - 105/disc. I installed my own saddle and pedals. The downside was old 25mm tires. In a redo, I would bring my own tires, a little wider.

I took measurements of the reach and saddle height from center of BB from my regular bike. Fit worked fine.
