Hi,

The HCR holiday party is Saturday, December 16th at 3108 Creeks Edge Pkwy.  I will have Beer, La Croix and barbeque, otherwise, it is a potluck (like last year).  It is at 3108 Creeks Edge Pkwy.  Hope to see everyone there.

Thanks,
Wayne

HCRs,
A reminder to please try to make it the party out at Wayne's place, this Friday, 7pm. There's always plenty of good eats and drink, plus whatever potluck dish you surprise us with. (I'll be bringing falafel w/tahini sauce again.) Really cannot overstate how good it is to get together and shoot the breeze when we're not trying to fix a flat in the pouring rain or being rushed out of a control back into the blistering heat/arctic frost. Let's hang out and discuss your riding goals for 2025. And, of course, let's relive the glorious past (and unthinkable suffering!) we've been lucky enough to share together on that long road we love so well.

It would be nice (Wayne lives in the nicest part of Austin) but some distance away. I am determined to ride some brevets in 2025 and would much prefer the roads west of Austin to the overloaded FM roads in this neck of the woods.

Once my LeJog is out of the way - in May - I'll jump back in. I've been averaging about 120 miles a week all year (sadly, non rando), so I am as ready as I ever will be.

Merry Christmas and a rewarding cycling New year.

Ken J.
