mediocre product, considering the price. I've worn this mid-boot daily to work (I'm a refrigeration mechanic) and though its a very comfortable, well-fitting shoe, its definitely NOT waterproof and the rubber "shield" which wraps the shoe above the soles is now peeling in spots. Lacing "system" works for snug fit and there are no hot spots or pinch points as I climb or crouch through my workday. They do not breathe well as I find my socks very damp from perspiration at day's end (unusual for me in any shoe, sneaker or workboot). I appreciate technical clothing and am willing to spend for the features I want. Foremost on my list was being waterproof since I often have to work on poorly drained commercial roofs in foul weather, so my search for the best boot for me will not end with this one....
