Very comfortable...
By Theresa H Brandt
I have foot "issues" that include arthritis in my ankles and a bunion on one foot. These boots accommodate those issues very well allowing me to wear them all day without pain. The toe box is quite roomy, my heel sits firmly in the right spot and the arch support is great. Do I recommend them? Absolutely.

Two pairs of these but didn't buy through Amazon.
By Lincoln County MT
Before I purchased these and several more pairs of Chaco shoes I checked into Amazon to see reviews. Only one for this mid boot. I have it in the Bison and Chocolate Chip. Really like both but then they are the asme boot just different color schemes. They seem to fit true to my size. I'm a solid 7 with narrower heel. I like my toes roomy and comfortable but not over sized or touching the front ot the boot. I could wear s single pair of light socks with this boot it's that specific a fit for me. However I always wear 1-2 pairs of socks and might need to go with just one pair or midweight pair of crews. After they are broken in that might change. I liked the way it fit however. And your heel feels seated as the other review mentioned. I'm healing a Plantar Fasciitis in the right foot. I've gone through all my shoes now and ordered several pairs of this style in the mid boot and the shoe lower rise too. I like a boot as it gives support to my ankles. But in summer a shoe is a bit
cooler so picked up several pairs in both. What is surprise is the way the toe sets...then if you move your foot forward it flips forward....not sure if that gives you a boost to your step or not yet. It may help over time. I returned through Amazon several other pairs of good brand named hikers for women.THey didn't cut it as the sole even when vibram were way tooooo soft and flexed right at the bend of your toes where the laces began. Horrible design and no support when hitting the very rocky trails here in the heart of the rocky mountains. The sole would literally bend almost 90 degrees up. You'd fall trying to navigate some of the ragged rocky paths up here especially those that turn steep. Both going up and coming down. These look and feel really supportive and I believe they well perform well. And though the PF is very touchy still I don't think the odd toe action this has well trigger my ingrown toe nail problem. The shoes that actually flexed up would. I cna't wear for
example any duct shaped or web shaped foot shaped toes. Some winter pak like boots and mud boots have toes like that. The toe actually sits at an incline bent upwards all the time and it leads to toe nail inflamation. So I'm happy with these shoes. I wish now I'd bought the same style in the full leather no mesh. The special prices I paid were well worth the risk to go with a non-amazon purchase. If it was close or a little bit lower I would stay with Amazon for the protection in returns. But these are keepers.
