Conservation Project in Trail View State Park:
Project involves removing invasive vines from trees along the trail. This allows the trees to grow and eventually shade the vines and out compete them.
Meet at the intersection of Colonial Rd and Sherman Rd in Old Bethpage. at 9:30 am. This is just north of HayPath Ave at the northern end of Bethpage State Park.

Bring hedge trimmers; loppers; gloves; eye protection; snack; water
Directions: If using a gps set the location to 48 Colonial Rd, Old Bethpage, NY
From Rt 135 (Seaford Oysterbay Exp) take exit 9. Head east on Broadway and than north on Plainview Rd. The first cross street intersection with a traffic light is Haypath Rd. Turn right (east). You will pass through Bethpage/Trail View State Park. There is a trail crosswalk there. The next street is Colonial Rd, turn left (north). Go to #48 Colonial Rd to meet us.

All participants must complete a Volunteer Service Agreement form which covers you with Workman's Comp. This will be sent to you when you register.
All scouts must also bring a completed BSA Medical and Informed Consent Part A and B
